History

MobiCoach started with a passion for fleetmanagement and a possibilty to consult transportation companies to get more out of their fleet. We’d like to tell you about our company’s history and milestones.

Start of Mobicoach

Twan Goossens, CEO of MobiCoach, starts with MobiCoach. He wants to consult transportation companies about their fleetmanagement, which is why he called his company MobiCoach; he wants to be a coach in mobile data in the field of transportation.

It all started with registrering the hours of the truck drivers. A terminal with a memorycard was placed in the truck, and when the truck came back to the office, the memory stick could be read. After that, the office could start analyzing and prepare for the salary.

First business premises

Twan gets the possibility to rent an office at the Koornstraat in Oss. He starts with just one room, but later on he will rent the complete department.

Tender of defense

MobiCoach is still really small, with just 4 employees, when Twan wins a tender for Defense. A big surprise, considering the other companies who where also contesting.

Moving to Palestrinastraat

MobiCoach has outgrown it's office space. Therefore, Twan finds a nice office space in the Palestrinastraat in Oss.

Developing mobile devices

MobiCoach decides to focus themselves on developing software for mobile devices. The next years will be crucial for what later on will be MobiScout Mobile.

Customers change towards MobiScout Mobile

After a few years of developing and investing the mobile app, the first big customers change towards MobiScout Mobile.
